Mahlah ~ ማህለህ: disease / EBD, the law of inheritance having been altered in their favour. (ዘኁ 26:33)

The name ‘Mahlah’ is derived from ‘Mahle’ (ማህለ) ፥ the meaning is ‘to swear in the name of the lord’ / Ibid.

One of the daughters of Zelophehad, “... the daughters of Zelophehad were Mahlah, and Noah, Hoglah, Milcah, and Tirzah.” (Num 26:33)

ማህለህ ~Mahlah: ማሃላህ፣ መሐላ፣ መማል፣ መጮህ፣ በአምላክ ስም ቃል መግባት፣ ጌታን መጥራት ማለት ነው።

‘መሃላ’ ከሚለው ቃል የመጣ ስም ነው። የቃሉ ምንጭ ‘ሃለ’ የሚለው ግስ ነው። [ተዛማጅ ስሞች- ሀሌ ሉያ፣ ሂሌል]

የሰለጰዓድ ልጅ ማህለህ ፥ “የሰለጰዓድም የሴቶች ልጆቹ ስም ማህለህ፥ ኑዓ...” (ዘኁ 26:33)
