Meadow ~ ሜዳ: Some kind of reed or water-plant, "reed-grass", i.e. the sedge or rank grass by the river side / EBD; meaning some kind of flag or water plant / SBD, (መሣ 20:33)

The name ‘Meadow’ is derived from ‘Miedaw’ (ሜዳው) ፥ the root word is ‘Mieda’ (ሜዳ) ፥ the meaning is ‘grass land, field...’ / Ibid.

The sedge or rank grass by the river side, “...Israel came forth out of their places, even out of the meadows of Gibeah.” (Jud 20:33)
