Malchi-shua ~ ሚልኪሳ:  king of help / EBN, (1 ዜና 8:33)

The name ‘Malchi-shua’ is derived from ‘Melake’ (መላከ) and ‘Sh’h (ሽህ) ፥ the meaning is ‘king of mighty or thousands’ / Ibid.

King of help, one of the four sons of Saul “And Ner begat Kish, and Kish begat Saul, and Saul begat Jonathan, and Malchi–shua...” (1 Chr 8:33)

ሚልኪሳ ~Malchi-shua: መላከ ሽዋ፣ ሽህ መለክ፣ የብዎች አምላክ፣ የብዙ ህዝብ ንጉሥ ማለት ነው።

Malchi-shua- ‘መለከ’ እና ‘ሽዋ’ ከሚሉ ሁለት ቃላት የተመሠረተ ስም ነው።

የንጉሥ ሳኦል ልጅ፥ ሚልኪሳ፥ “ኔር ቂስን ወለደ ቂስም ሳኦልን ወለደ ሳኦልም ዮናታንን፥ ሚልኪሳን፥ አሚናዳብን፥ አስባኣልን ወለደ።” (1 ዜና 8:33)
