መዕሤያ ~Maaseiah: መሲ ያህ፣ መሳያህ፣ የአምልክ መድሐኒት፣ የጌታ መፍትሄ ማለት ነው። [ተዛማጅ ስሞች- መሕሤያ፣ መዕሣይ]

‘መሲሕ’ እና ‘ያህ’(ያህዌ፣ ህያው) ከሚሉት ሁለት ስሞች ተጣምሮ የተመሠረተ ስም ነው።

በዚህ ስም የሚታወቁ አሥራ ዘጠኝ ሰዎች አሉ።

1.                  በንጉሥ ዳዊት ትዕዛዝ፥ በናያስ በመሰንቆ ምሥጢር ነገር ያዜሙ ከነበር፥ ከሌዋውያን በሁለተኛ ተራ የሆነው፥ “...መዕሤያን፥ መቲትያን፥ ኤሊፍሌሁን፥ ሚቅንያን፥ በረኞችንም ዖቤድኤዶምንና ይዒኤልን አቆሙ።” (1 ዜና 15:18፣ 20)

2.                  የካህኑ የኢዮሴዴቅ ልጅ፣ የኢያሱ ልጅ፥ በግዞት ሲኖሩ፣ የሌላ አገር ሴቶችን ካገቡ የእስራኤል ካህናት አንዱ፥ መዕሤያ፥ (ዕዝ 10:18)
