ልብና ~Libnah: ልቦና፣ ልባዊ፣ አስተዋይ ማለት ነው። [ተዛማጅ ስሞች- ሊቢያ፣ ሌዊ፣ ልባዎት፣ ልብድዮስ]

‘ልብ’ ከሚለው ቃል የመጣ ስም ነው። ‘ሌበናን’ የሚለው የአገር ስም የተገኘው ከዚህ ነው።

እስራኤላውያን ከግብጽ ከወጡ በኋላ ካለፋባቸው ቦታዎች፥ “ከሬሞን ዘፋሬስም ተጕዘው በልብና ሰፈሩ።” (ዘኁ 33:20፣ 21) ፣ (ኢያ 10:29-32፣ 12:15)
