Sabtah ~ ሰብታ: rest, the third son of Cush / EBD, Rest / EBD, (ዘፍ 10:7)

The name ‘Sabtah’ is derived from ‘Sebat’ (ሰባት) ፥ the meaning is ‘sabean, seven...’/ Ibid.

The third son of Cush, “And the sons of Cush; Seba, and Havilah, and Sabtah, and Raamah, and Sabtechah: ...” (Gen 10:7)

ሰብታ ~Sabtah: ሰብ ቤት፣ ሰባት፣ ሳባት፣ ሳባ ቤት፣ የሰው ልጅ፣ ሰብዓዊ፣ ቤተ ሰብ ማለት ነው። [ተዛማጅ ስም- ሰበንያ፣ ሰንበት፣ ሳባ፣ ሳባ ሰዎች፣ ሳባታይ፣ ሳባጥ፣ ሳቤህ፣ ሳቤዔ፣ ሴባ፣ ሤባ፣ ጸባዖት]

‘ሰብ’ እና ‘ቤት’ ከሚሉ ሁለት ቃላት የተመሠረተ ስም ነው።
