Patriarch ~ አባቶች አለቃ: “Patriarch” means father of a tribe / SBD, (ዕብ 7:4)

The name ‘patriarch’ is derived from ‘Pater’ (ፓተር) and ‘Ark’ (አርክ) ፥ the meaning is ‘forefather’ / Ibid.

 “... Even the patriarch Abraham gave the tenth of the spoils” (Heb 7:4)

አባቶችአለቃ ~Patriarch: ቀዳማዊ፣ ጥንታዊ፣ የሩቅ አባት፣ አያት ቅድመ አያት ማለት ነው።

v    ዳዊት በዚህ ማዕረግ ተጠርቷል፥ “ወንድሞች ሆይ፥ ስለ አባቶች አለቃ ስለ ዳዊት እንደ ሞተም ...” (ሥራ 2:29)

v    አብርሃም የአባቶች አለቃ ተባለ፥ (ዕብ 7:4)
