The name ‘Rissah’ is derived from ‘Rase’ (ራሰ) ፥ the
meaning is ‘wet’ / Ibid.
Heap
of ruins; dew, a station of the Israelites in the wilderness, “And they removed from Libnah,
and pitched at Rissah;” (Num 33:21, 22)
