Raguel ~ ራጉኤል: “Raguel” means friend of God / SBD, (ዘኁ 10:29)

The root words for ‘Raguel’ are ‘Rega’ (ረጋ) and ‘El’ (ኤል) ፥ the meaning is ‘peace with the lord’ / Ibid.

The father-in-law of Moses, “And Moses said unto Hobab, the son of Raguel the Midianite, Moses' father in law, ...” (Num 10:29); Reuel, the father-in-law of Moses, (Ex 2:18)

ራጉኤል ~Raguel, Reuel: ረጋ ኤል፣ የአምላክ ረፍት፣ ሰንበት ማለት ነው። [ተዛማጅ ስም:- ራጋው]

‘ረጋ’ እና ‘ኤል’ ከሚሉ ሁለት ቃላት የተመሠረተ ስም ነው።

በዚህ ስም የሚታወቁ አራት ሰዎች አሉ።

I.                        ራጉኤል /Raguel: የሙሴ አማት፥ ኢተዮጵያዊው ካህን፥ “ወደ አባታቸው ወደ ራጉኤልም በመጡ ጊዜ ...” (ዘጸ 2:18) ፣ (ዘኁ 10:29)

II.                        ራጉኤል /Reuel:

1.                  የዔሳው ልጅ፣ ከቤሴሞት የወለደው፥ “... ቤሴሞትም ራጉኤልን ወለደች” (ዘፍ 36:4፣ 10)

2.                  የኤሊሳፍ አባት ራጉኤል፥ (ዘኁ 2:14)

3.                  የዪብኒያ ልጅ፣ የሰፋጥያስ አባት ራጉኤል፥ (1 ዜና 9:8)
