Rehabiah ~ ረዓብያ: “Rehabiah” means enlarged by Jehovah / SBD, (1 ዜና 23:17)

The name ‘Rehabiah’ is derived from ‘Rebi’ (ረቢ) and ‘Yah’ (ያህ) ፥ The root words are ‘Reba’(ረባ) and  ‘Yah’ (ያህ) ፥ The meaning is ‘enlarged by Jehovah’ / Ibid.

The only son of Eliezer the son of Moses, “And the sons of Eliezer were, Rehabiah the chief. And Eliezer had none other sons; but the sons of Rehabiah were very many.” (1 Chr 23:17)

ረዓብያ ~Rehabiah: ረብዓ ያህ፣ ረበ ያህ፣ ጌታ ያበረከተው፣ አምላክ ያራባው፣ የተባዛ ማለት ነው። 

‘ረባ’ ከሚለው ቃል የመጣ ስም ነው።

የአልዓዛር ልጅ፥ “የአልዓዛርም ልጆች አለቃ ረዓብያ ነበረ አልዓዛርም ሌሎች ልጆች አልነበሩትም የረዓብያ ልጆች እጅግ ብዙ ነበሩ።” (1 ዜና 23:17)
