Gittites ~ ጌትያውን: Belonging
to Gath / SBD, (2 ሳሙ 15፡18፣ 19)
The
600 men who followed David from Gath, under Ittai the Gittite, “And all
his servants passed on beside him; and all the Cherethites, and all the
Pelethites, and all the Gittites ...” (2 Sam 15:18, 19), (Jos 13:3)

ጌትያውን ~Gittites: ጌታይት፣ ጌታውያን፣ የጌት አገር ሰዎች ማለት ነው።
‘ጌት’ ከሚለው የቦታ ስም የመጣ ቃል ነው።
ንጉሥ ዳዊትን ከተከተሉ ሰዎች መካከል ጌትያውን ይገኙበታል፥ (2 ሳሙ15፡18፣19)
