Fear ~ መፍራት: A designation of true piety / EBD, (ምሳ 1፡7)

The word ‘Fear’ is derived from ‘Fera’ (ፈራ) ፥ the meaning is ‘feeling or showing worry or solicitude’/ Ibid.

A designation of true piety, “The fear of the LORD is the beginning of knowledge: but fools despise wisdom and instruction.” (Pro 1:7), (Job 28:28; Ps 19:9)

መፍራት ~Fear: ፈሪ፣ ፈራ፣ ፍራት፣ ጭንቀት፣ ጥንቃቄ ማለት ነው።

ፈሪሃ እግዚአብሔር፥ “የጥበብ መጀመሪያ እግዚአብሔርን መፍራት ነው ሰነፎች ግን ጥበብንና ተግሣጽን ይንቃሉ” (ምሳ 1፡7) ፣ (ኢዮ 28:28 ፣ መዝ 19:9)
