Hiel ~ አኪኤል: The name “Hiel” means God lives; the life of God / HBN, (1 ነገ 16፡34)

The name ‘Hiel’ is derived from ‘Hayl’ (ሃይል) ፥ the meaning is ‘strength’ / Ibid.

A native of Bethel, who rebuilt Jericho in the reign of Ahab, “In his days did Hiel the Bethelite build Jericho: ... of the LORD….” (1 kin 16፡34)

አኪኤል ~Hiel: አያኤል፣ ኃይል፣ ኃያል፣ ብርቱ፣ ጠንካራ ማለት ነው።

ኢያሪኮን የሠራ የቤቴል ሰው፥ “በእርሱም ዘመን የቤቴል ሰው አኪኤል ኢያሪኮን ሠራ በነዌም ልጅ በኢያሱ እጅ እንደ ተነገረው እንደ እግዚአብሔር ቃል፥ በበኵር ልጅ በአቢሮን መሠረትዋን አደረገ፥ በታናሹ ልጁም በሠጉብ በሮችዋን አቆመ።” (1 ነገ 16፡34)
