Heleph ~ ሔሌፍ: The name “Heleph” means changing; passing over / HBN, (ኢያ 19፡33)

The name ‘Heleph’ is derived from ‘Elef’ (እለፍ) ፥ the root word is ‘Alefe’ (አለፈ) ፥ the meaning is ‘passing over’ / Ibid.

The place from which the boundary of the tribe of Naphtali started, “And their coast was from Heleph,” (Jos 19:33)

ሔሌፍ ~Heleph: ሐለፍ፣ አላፊ፣ ማለፊያ፣ መተላለፊያ ማለት ነው። [ተዛማጅ ስም- አልፋ]

‘አለፈ’ ከሚለው ግስ የተገኘ ስም ነው።

የንፍታሌም ልጆች የሰሜናዊ ድንበር፣ የቦታ ስም፥ “ድንበራቸውም ከሔሌፍ፥ ከጸዕነኒም ዛፍ፥ ከአዳሚኔቄብ፥ ከየብኒኤል እስከ ለቁም ድረስ ነበረ ...” (ኢያ 19፡33)
