Hashabiah ~ ሐሸቢያ: “Hashabiah” means whom God regards / SBD; the estimation of the Lord / HBN, (2 ዜና 35:9)

The root words for ‘Hashabiah’ are ‘Hasabe’ (ሐሳበ) and ‘Yah’ (ያህ) ፥ The meaning is ‘Whom the lord thinks or regards’/ Ibid.

ሐሸቢያ ~Hashabiah: ሐሳበ ያህ፣ አሳበ ህያው፣ እግዚአብሔር ያሰበው ማለት ነው። [ተዛማጅ ስሞች - ሐሸብያ፣ ሐሹባ ፣ አሳብያ]

‘ሐሳብ’ እና ‘ያህ’(ህያው) ከሚሉ ሁለት ቃላት የተመሠረተ ስም ነው። የቃሉ ምንጭ ደግሞ ‘አሰበ’ የሚለው ግስ ነው።

1.                  በዳዊት ዘመን በሌዊ ላይ የተሾመው የቀሙኤል ልጅ፥ ሐሸቢያ፥ “በሌዊ ላይ የቀሙኤል ልጅ ሐሸቢያ ” (1 ዜና 27:17)

2.                  ከሌዋውያኑ አለቆች አንዱ፥ ሐሸቢያ፥ (2 ዜና 35:9)

3.                  በመጽሐፈ ዕዝራ የተጠቀሰው ሊቀ ካህን፥ ሐሸቢያ፥ (ዕዝ 8:24)
