Hashub ~ አሱብ: Esteemed; numbered / HBN; “Hashub” means intelligent / SBD, (ነህ 3:11)

The name ‘Hashub’ is derived from ‘Hasab’ (ሐሳብ) ፥ the meaning is ‘thought’/ Ibid.

A son of Pahath-moab, “Malchijah the son of Harim, and Hashub the son of Pahathmoab, repaired the other piece, and the tower of the furnaces;” (Neh 3:11)

አሱብ ~Hashub: ሀሹብ፣ ሐሳብ፣ ሂሳብ፣ አላማ፣ ማኞት ማለት ነው።

‘አሰበ’ ከሚለው ግስ የተገኘ ስም ነው።

1.                  የኢየሩሳሌምን ቅጥር ያደሰ የፈሐት ሞዓብ ልጅ አሱብ ፥ “የካሪም ልጅ መልክያ፥ የፈሐት ሞዓብ ልጅም አሱብ ሌላውን ክፍልና የእቶኑን ግንብ አደሱ።” (ነህ 3:11)

2.                  ኢየሩሳሌምን ቅጥር ያደሰ፥ “ከእነርሱም በኋላ ብንያምና አሱብ በቤታቸው አንጻር ያለውን አደሱ። ከእነርሱም በኋላ የሐናንያ ልጅ የመዕሤያ ልጅ ዓዛርያስ በቤቱ አጠገብ ያለውን አደሰ።” (ነህ 3:23)

3.                  ከነህምያ ጋር የቃል ኪዳኑን ደብዳቤ ካተሙት፥ (ነህ 10:23)

4.                  ከእግዚአብሔርም ቤት በሜዳ በነበረው ሥራ ላይ የነበሩ፥ (ነህ 11:15)
