Hanun ~ ሐኖን: The name “Hanun” means gracious; merciful / HBN; Favored / SBD, (2 ሳሙ 10፡1-14)

Son of Nahash, “And it came to pass after this, that the king of the children of Ammon died, and Hanun his son reigned in his stead.” (2 Sam 10:1, 2; 1 Chr 19:1, 2) king of Ammon, who dishonored the ambassadors of David (2 Sam 10:4) and involved the Ammonites in a disastrous war (2 Sam 12:31; 1 Chr 19:6)

Other people with the same name are: A man who, with the people of Zanoah, repaired the ravine gate in the wall of Jerusalem (Neh 3:13); The sixth son of Zalalph, who also assisted in the repair of the wall, apparently on the east side (Neh 3:30)

2.                  የኢየሩሳሌምን ቅጥር በማደስ ከተባበሩት አንዱ ሐኖን፥ (ነህ 3:30)

3.                  ከዛኖዋ ሰዎች ጋር የኢየሩሳሌምን ቅጥር፣ የሸለቆውን በር ያደሰ ሐኖን፥ (ነህ 3:13)
