Harhur ~ ሐርሑር: The name “Harhur” means made warm / HBN; “Harhur” means inflammation / SBD, (ዕዝ 2:51)

The name ‘Harhur’ is derived from ‘Harur’ (ሐሩር) ፥ the root word is ‘Arere’ (አረረ) ፥ the meaning is ‘high temperature (hot)’ / Ibid.

The sons of Harhur were among the Nethinim who returned from Babylon with Zerubbabel, “The children of Bakbuk, the children of Hakupha, the children of Harhur” (Ezr 2:51; Neh 7:53)

ሐርሑር ~Harhur: ሐሩር፣ ያረረ፣ የሞቀ፣ የሚያቃጥል ማለት ነው።

‘ሐሩር’ ከሚለው ቃል የተገኘ ስም ሲሆን፥ የቃሉ ምንጭ ደግሞ ‘አረረ’ የሚለው ግስ ነው። ሐረር፣ ሐራሬ እና የመሳሰሉ ስሞች የመጡት ከዚህ ቃል ነው።

የባቢሎን ንጉሥ ናቡከደነፆር ከማረካቸው ምርኮኞች ወደ ኢየሩሳሌምና ወደ ይሁዳ ወደ እየከተማቸው ከተመለሱት የአገር ልጆች መካከለ የሐርሑር ልጆችም ይገኙበታል፥ “የበቅቡቅ ልጆች፥ የሐቁፋ ልጆች፥ የሐርሑር ልጆች...” (ዕዝ 2:51) ፥ (ነህ 7:53)
