Shemuel ~ ሰላሚኤል: “Shemuel” means heard by God / SBD, (ዘኁ 34:20)

The name ‘Shemuel’ is derived from the root word ‘Sema’ (ሰማ) and ‘El’ (ኤል) ፥ the meaning is ‘heard by the almighty’ / Ibid.
