Nathan ~ ናታን: A giver / EBD; The name “Nathan” means given; giving; rewarded / HBN, (ዕዝ 8:16)

One of the head men who returned from Babylon with Ezra on his second expedition, “Then sent I for Eliezer ... and for Nathan, and for Zechariah ... and for Elnathan, men of understanding” (Ezr 8:16)

ናታን ~Nathan: ናታን፣ ስጦታ፣ በረከት፣ ጌታነት ማለት ነው።

በዚህ ስም የሚታወቁ ሦስት ሰዎች አሉ።

1.                  በነብዮ ዕዝራ ዘመን፥ ከምርኮ መልስ፥ ከካህናቱ ወገን ልጆች እንግዶቹን ሴቶች ካገቡ የባኒ ልጅ፥ (ዕዝ 8:16)

2.                  የዳዊት ልጅ፥ “እነዚህ ደግሞ በኢየሩሳሌም ተወለዱለት ከዓሚኤል ልጅ ከቤርሳቤህ፥ ሳሙስ፥ ሶባብ፥ ናታን” (1 ዜና 3:5)

3.                  ነቢዩ ናታን፥ (2 ሳሙ 7:2፣ 3፣ 17)
