Nahum ~ ናሆም: “Nahum” means consolation / SBD, (ናሆ 1:1)

Nahum, called "the Elkoshite," is the seventh in order of the Minor Prophets.

ናሆም ~Nahum: ናሆም፣ ረፍት፣ መረጋጋት፣ መጽናናት ማለት ነው።

[ተዛማጅ ስሞች- ነሐማኒ፣ ነሐም፣ ነሑም፣ ነህምያ፣ ኑኃሚን፣ ንዕማን፣ ኖሐ፣ ኖኅ]

[ትርጉሙ መጽናናት ማለት ነው / መቅቃ]

ከደቂቀ ነብያት አንዱ፣ በተራ ሰባተኛ፣ ኤልቆሻዊው ነብዩ ናሆም፥ “ስለ ነነዌ የተነገረ ሸክም የኤልቆሻዊው የናሆም የራእዩ መጽሐፍ ይህ ነው።” (ናሆ 1:1)
