Mishma ~ ማስማዕ: The name “Mishma” means hearing; obeying / HBN, (ዘፍ 25:14)

The name ‘Mishma’ is derived from ‘Me’Sema’ (መ’ሰማ) ፥ the meaning is ‘hears’ / Ibid.

One of the sons of Ishmael, and founder of an Arab tribe, “And Mishma, and Dumah, and Massa,” (Gen 25:14; 1 Chr 1:30)

The other person with the same name: A son of Simeon, (1 Chr 4:25)

ማስማዕ ~Mishma: መሰማ፣ መስማት፣ መረዳት፣ ማዳመጠ ማለት ነው።

‘ሰማ’ ከሚለው ቃል የመጣ ስም ነው።

በዚህ ስም የሚታወቁ ሁለት ሰዎች አሉ።

1.                  የእስማኤል ልጅ፥ ማስማዕ ፥ “...ቄዳር፥ ነብዳኤል፥ መብሳም፥ ማስማዕ፥” (ዘፍ 25:14)

2.                  የስምዖን ልጅ፥ ማስማዕ ፥ (1 ዜና 4:25)
