Elishama ~ ኤሊሳማ: “Elishama” means whom God hears / SBD, (ዘኁ 1፡10)

The root words for ‘Elishama’ are ‘El’ (ኤል) and ‘Sema’ (ሰማ) ፥ The meaning is ‘the lord heared’/ Ibid.

‘ኤል’ እና ‘ሰማ’ ከሚሉ ሁለት ቃላት የተመሠረተ ነው።

በዚህ ስም የሚታወቁ ስድስት ሰዎች አሉ።

1.                  ከኤፍሬም ነገድ፥ የዓሚሁድ ልጅ፥ “ከዛብሎን የኬሎን ልጅ ኤልያብ፥ ከዮሴፍ ልጆች ከኤፍሬም የዓሚሁድ ልጅ ኤሊሳማ፥ ...” (ዘኁ 1፡10)

3.                  ከይሁዳ ወገን፣ የቃምያ ልጅ፥  (1 ዜና 2:41)

4.                  ጎዶልያስንና ከእርሱ ጋር በምጽጳ የነበሩትን አይሁድንና ከለዳውያንን እስኪሞቱ ድረስ ከመቱ፥ የናታን አባት፥ (2 ነገ 25:25)፣ (ኤር 41:1)

5.                  የሳፋንም ልጅ የገማርያ ልጅ ሚክያስ የእግዚአብሔርን ቃል ሁሉ ከመጽሐፉ በሰማ ጊዜ፥ የንጉሥ ኢዮአቄም ጸሐፊ የነበረ፥ (ኤር 36:12፣ 20፣ 21)

6.                  በንጉሥ ኢዮሳፍጥ ትዕዛዝ የሕጉን መጽሐፍ ይዘው በይሁዳ ያስተምሩ ከነበሩ፥ (2 ዜና 17:8)
