Eliel ~ ኤሊኤል: “Eliel” meansto whom God is strength / SBD, (1 ዜና 5:24)

The name ‘Eliel’ is derived from ‘El’ (ኤል) and ‘El’ (ኤል) ፥ the meaning is ‘power of the powerful’ / Ibid.

ኤሊኤል ~Eliel: ኤል ኤል፣ ጌታዬ አምላኬ፣ ጌታ ጌታዬ፣ አምላኬ አምላኬ፣ የኃያላን ኃያል ማለት ነው። [ተዛማጅ ስም- ኤልኤል]

‘ኤል’ን ደጋግሞ  በመጥራት የተመሠረተ ቃል ነው።

በዚህ ስም የሚታወቁ ዘጠኝ ሰዎች አሉ።

1.                  የምናሴ ነገድ፥ ከአባቶቻቸው ቤቶች አለቆች፥ “ዔፌር፥ ይሽዒ፥ ኤሊኤል፥ ዓዝርኤል፥ ኤርምያ፥ ሆዳይዋ፥ ... የአባቶቻቸውም ቤቶች አለቆች ነበሩ።” (1ዜና 5:24)

2.                  ሎሞን የእግዚአብሔርን ቤት በኢየሩሳሌም እስኪሠራ ድረስ በመገናኛ ድንኳን ማደሪያ ፊት እያዜሙ ያገለግሉ፥ የነብዩ  ሳሙኤል ቅድመ አያት፥ (1 ዜና 6:34)

3.                  በኢየሩሳሌም ከተቀመጡ በትውልዶቻቸው አለቆች የነበሩ፥  የብንያም ነገድ አለቃ፣ የኤልፍዓል ልጅ፥ (1 ዜና 8:20)

4.                  በኢየሩሳሌም የተቀመጡ በትውልዶቻቸው አለቆች የነበሩ የአባቶቻቸው ቤቶች አለቆች፥ የሰሜኢ ልጅ፥ (1 ዜና 8:22 ፣ 23)

5.                  መሐዋዊው የንጉሥ ዳዊት ወታደር፥ (1 ዜና 11:46)

6.                  በጺቅላግም ከቂስ ልጅ ከሳኦል በተሸሸገ ጊዜ ወደ ዳዊት የመጡ፥ (1 ዜና 12:11)

7.                  የእስራኤልን አምላክ የእግዚአብሔርን ታቦት ያመጡ ዘንድ በንጉሥ ዳዊት ከታዘዙ፥ (1 ዜና 15:9 ፣ 11)

8.                  በንጉሡ በሕዝቅያስና በእግዚአብሔር ቤት አለቃ በዓዛርያስ ትእዛዝ፥ ከኮናንያና ከወንድሙ ከሰሜኢ እጅ በታች ተቈጣጣሪዎች ከነበሩ፥ (2 ዜና 31:13)
