ኤልያብ ~Eliab: ኤል አብ፣ የአባቴ አምላክ፣ አባቴ አምላኬ ማለት ነው። [ተዛማጅ ስሞች- አቤል፣ አቢኤል]

‘ኤል’ እና ‘አብ’ ከሚሉ ቃላት የተመሠረተ ስም ነው።

በዚህ ስም የሚታወቁ ሰባት ሰዎች አሉ ።

1.                  የአሂሳሚክን ልጅ፥ “እኔም እነሆ ከእርሱ ጋር ከዳን ነገድ የሚሆን የአሂሳሚክን ልጅ ኤልያብን ሰጠሁ ያዘዝሁህን ሁሉ ያደርጉ ዘንድ በልባቸው ጥበበኞች በሆኑት ሁሉ ጥበብን አኖርሁ።” (ዘጸ 31:6)

2.                  የሮቤል ልጅ፣ ዳታንና አቤሮን አባት፥ (ዘኁ 16፡1፣12)
