Eliah ~ ኤልያስ: “Eliah” means my God is Jehovah / SBD, (1 ዜና 8፡27)

The name ‘Eliah’ is derived from ‘El’ (ኤል) and ‘Yah’ (ያህ) ፥ the meaning is ‘Jehoval is lord almighty’ / Ibid

A Benjamite, a chief man of the tribe; “And Jaresiah, and Eliah, and Zichri, the sons of Jeroham”, (1 Chr 8:27)

Eliah, Elijah- ‘ኤል’ እና ‘ያህ’ (ያህዌ) ከሚሉ ቃላት የተመሠረተ ስም ነው።

I.                        ኤልያስ /Eliah:

1.                  ብንያማዊው የነገዱ አለቃ፥ “... ኤልያስ፥ ዝክሪ፥ የይሮሐም ልጆች” (1 ዜና 8፡27)

2.                  በዕዝራ ዘመን እግዶች ሚስቶችን ካገቡ፣ ከካሪም ልጅ፥ (ዕዝ 10: 21፣ 26)

II.                        ኤልያስ /Elijah: የሞተን ልጅ ያስነሳ፣ ዝናም ለሁለት ዓመት እንዳይዘንብ ሰማይን የዘጋ፣ ነብዩ ኤልያስ ፥ (1 ነገ 17፡1)
