Ahikam ~ አኪቃም: “Ahikam” means a brother who raises up, / SBD, (2 ነገ 22፡12-14 ፥ 2 ዜና 34:20)

The root words for ‘Ahikam’ are ‘Aya’ and ‘Qom’ (ቆም) ፥ The meaning is ‘a brother who stands for one’/ Ibid.

One of the five whom Josiah sent to consult the prophetess Huldah in connection with the discovery of the book of the law, “And the king commanded Hilkiah the priest, and Ahikam the son ...” (2 kin 22:12-14)
