Ahijah ~ አኪያ: brother (i.e., "friend") of Jehovah / EBD, (1 ዜና 2፡25)

The name ‘Ahijah’ is derived from two words ‘Aya’ (አያ) and ‘Yah’ (ያህ) ፥ the meaning is ‘brother of Jehovah’ / Ibid.

One of the five sons of Jerahmeel, who was great-grandson of Judah; “And the sons of Jerahmeel ... Ozem, and Ahijah” (1 Chr 2:25)

አኪያ ~Ahiah, Ahijah: አያያ፣ አያ’ያህ፣ የጌታ ወንድም፣ የህያው ወዳጅ፣ የጌታ ተባባሪ ማለት ነው።

Ahiah, Ahijah- ‘አያ’ እና ‘ያህ’ (ያህዌ ፣ ህያው) ከሚሉ ቃላት የተመሠረቱ ስሞች ናቸው። [እግዚአብሔር ወንሜ ነው ማለት ነው። / መቅቃ]

በዚህ ስም የሚታወቁ ሰጠኝ ሰዎች አሉ።

I.                        አኪያ /Ahiah:

1.                  የኢካቦድ ወንድም የአኪጦብ ልጅ የፊንሐስ ልጅ የዔሊ ልጅ በሴሎ ለእግዚአብሔር ካህን፥ (1 ሳሙ14:3 18)

2.                  የኤሁድ ልጆች በጌባ የሚቀመጡ የአባቶቻቸው ቤቶች አለቆች ወደ መናሐትም ከተማረኩ፥ (1 ዜና 8፡7)

3.                  በንጉሥ ሰሎሞን ዘመን የነበረ ጸሐፊ፣ የሴባ ልጅ፥ (1 ነገ 4:3)

II.                        አኪያ /Ahijah:

1.                  ነቢዩ አኪያ፥ “ኢዮርብዓምም ሚስቱን፦ ... ላይ እንድነግሥ የነገረኝ ነቢዩ አኪያ በዚያ አለ።” (1 ነገ 14:2)

2.                  ከይሳኮር ቤት የባኦስ አባት፥ (1 ነገ 15:27 ፣ 33)

3.                  የይረሕምኤል ልጅ፥ (1 ዜና 2:25)

4.                  የዳዊት ወታደር፣ ፍሎናዊው አኪያ፥ (1 ዜና 11:36 ፣37)

5.                  በእግዚአብሔር ቤት በሚሆኑ ቤተ መዛግብትና በንዋየ ቅድሳቱ ቤተ መዛግብት ላይ የተሾሞ፥ (1 ዜና 26:20)

6.                  በነህምያ ዘመን ቃልኪዳኑን ካተሙት ከሌዋውያኑ ወገን፥ (ነህ 10:26)
