Adummim ~ አዱሚም: The name “Adummim” means earthy; red; bloody things / HBN; the red ones / EBD (ኢያ 15፡7)

The name ‘Adummim’ is derived from a‘demam’ (ደማም) ፥ the meaning is ‘reddish, resembling or containing blood...’ / Ibid

A place apparently on the road between Jericho and Jerusalem, "on the south side of the torrent" Wady Kelt, looking toward Gilgal, “... that is before the going up to Adummim, which is on the south …” (Jos 15:7)

‘ደማም’ ከሚልው ቃል የተገኘ ስም ነው።

ለይሁዳ ልጆች በየወገናቸው በዙሪያቸው ያለ ድንበር፥ “ድንበሩም ከአኮር ሸለቆ ወደ ዳቤር ወጣ፥ በሰሜን በኩል በአዱሚም ዐቀበት ፊት ለፊት፥ ...” (ኢያ 15፡7)
