The name ‘Adami’ is derived from ‘A’demh’ (አ’ደምህ) ፥ the meaning is ‘your blood’ (red). And also means ‘your relative’ / Ibid.

One of the "fenced cities" of Naphtali named between Chinnereth and Ramah, “And Adamah, and Ramah, and Hazor,” (Jos 19:36), (Gen 10፡19)

‘አደም’ ከሚለው ቃል የመጣ ስም ነው።
