Jozachar ~ ዮዘካር: “Jozachar” means whom Jehovah has remembered / SBD, (2 ነገ 12:21)

The name ‘Jozachar’ is derived from ‘Yah’ (ያህ) and ‘Zekr’ (ዘክር) ፥ the root word for ‘Zkr’ (ዘክር) is ‘Zekere’ (ዘከረ)

The meaning is ‘whom Jehovah has remembered’ / Ibid.

One of the murderers of Joash king of Judah, “For Jozachar the son of Shimeath... and Amaziah his son reigned in his stead.” (2 Kin 12:21)
