The son of Tobiah the Ammonite, “For there were many in Judah sworn unto him, because he was the son in law of Shechaniah the son of Arah; and his son Johanan had taken the daughter of Meshullam the son of Berechiah.” (Neh 6:18)

ዮሐናን ~Johanan: የሐናን፣ የጌታ የሆነ፣ የሕያው በረከት ማለት ነው። [ተዛማጅ ስም- ይሆሐናን]

‘ያህ’ (ያህዌ) እና ‘ሐናን’ (አናን) ከሚሉ ቃላት የተመሠረተ ስም ነው። 

[ትርጉሙ “እግዚአብሔር ጸጋ ሰጭ ነው” ማለት ነው / መቅቃ]

በዚህ ስም የሚታወቁ አሥር ሰዎች አሉ።

1.                  ከጋድ ልጆች የጭፍራ አለቆች ዳዊት ወደነበረባት ወደ አምባይቱ ከመጡ፣ የሜሱላም ልጅ፥ “ሰባተኛው ኤሊኤል፥ ስምንተኛው ዮሐናን” (1 ዜና 12:12)

2.                  የዓዛርያስ ልጅ፥ የዓዛርያስ አባት፥ (1 ዜና 6:9፣ 10) ፣ (2 ዜና 28:12)
