Jezreel ~ ኢይዝራኤል: “Jezreel” means seed of God / SBD, (ኢያ 19፡18)

The name ‘Jezreel’ is derived from ‘Yezere’ (የዘረ) and ‘El’ (ኤል)፥ the meaning is ‘seed of the almighty lord’/ Ibid.

A descendant of the father or founder of Etam, of the line of Judah, “And their border were toward Jezreel, and Chesulloth, and Shunem,” (Jos 19:18)

ኢይዝራኤል ~Jezreel: የዘረ ኤል፣ የአምላክ ዘር፣ የእግዚአብሔር ወገን ማለት ነው። [ተዛማጅ ስሞች- ዓዛርኤል፣ ኤዝርኤል፣ ዓዝሪኤል፣ ዓዝርኤል፣ ዓዛርኤል፣ ኤዝርኤል፣ አዛርኤል]

‘ዘር’ እና ’ኤል’ ከሚሉ ቃላት የተመሠረተ ስም ነው።

[እግዚአብሔር ይዘራል ማለት ነው / መቅቃ]

በዚህ ስም የሚታወቁ ሁለት ሰዎች አሉ።

1.                  ለይሳኮር ልጆች በየወገኖቻቸው የወጣ፥ “ድንበራቸውም ወደ ኢይዝራኤል፥” (ኢያ 19፡18)

2.                  የኤጣም አባት ልጅ፣ (1 ዜና 4:3)
