Jezrahiah ~ ይዝረሕያ: “Jezrahiah” means produced by Jehovah / SBD, (ነህ 12፡42)

The root words for ‘Jezrahiah’ are ‘Ye’Zere’ (የ’ዘር) and ‘Yah’ (ያህ) ፥ the meaning is ‘relative of Jehovah’/ Ibid.

A Levite, the leader of the choristers at the solemn dedication of the wall of Jerusalem under Nehemiah, “... and Malchijah, and Elam, and Ezer; and the singers sang loud, with Jezrahiah their overseer.” (Neh 12:42)

ይዝረሕያ ~Izrahiah, Jezrahiah: እዝር ያህ፣ የህያው ዘር፣ የጌታ ወገን፣ የአምላክ ቤተሰብ ማለት ነው።

‘ዘረ’ እና ‘ያህ’(ህያው ፣ ያህዌ) ከሚሉ ቃላት የተመሠረተ ስም ነው።

በዚህ ስም የሚታወቁ ሁለት ሰዎች አሉ ።

I.                        ይዝረሕያ /Izrahiah: የኦዚ ልጅ፥ “የኦዚም ልጆች ይዝረሕያ የይዝረሕያም ልጆች ሚካኤል፥ አብድዩ፥ ኢዮኤል፥ ይሺያ አምስት ናቸው ...” (1 ዜና 7፡3)

II.                        ይዝረሕያ /Jezrahiah: በነህምያ ዘመን፣ የመዘምራኑ አለቃ፥ (ነህ 12፡42)
