Daniel ~ ዳንኤል: God is my judge, or judge of God / EBD, (1 ዜና 3፡1)

‘ዳኝ’ እና ’ኤል’ ከሚሉ ሁለት ቃላት የተመሠረተ ስም ነው።

በዚህ ስም የሚታወቁ አራት ሰዎች አሉ።
1.ከቀርሜሎሳዊቱ ከአቢግያ የተወለደው፣ የዳዊት ልጅ፥ (1 ዜና 3፡1)
2.የኢታምር ልጅ ፥ (ዕዝ 8:2)
3.ነብዩ ዳንኤል፥ “እነዚህ ሦስት ሰዎች፥ ኖኅና ዳንኤል ኢዮብም፥ ቢኖሩባት በጽድቃቸው የገዛ ነፍሳቸውን ብቻ ያድናሉ፥ ይላል ጌታ እግዚአብሔር፦” (ሕዝ 14:14)፣ (ዳን 1:6)፣ (ዳን 1:3 ፣ 6)
