Bishlam ~ ቢሽላም: The name “Bishlam” means in peace / HBN, (ዕዝ 4፡7-24)

The root words for ‘Bishlam’ are ‘Be’ (በ) and ‘Selam’ (ሰላም) ፥ The meaning is ‘peacefully’ / Ibid.

“And in the days of Artaxerxes wrote Bishlam, Mithredath, Tabeel, and the rest of their companions ... the letter was written in the Syrian tongue …” (Ezr 4:7-24)
