Jeruel ~ ይሩኤል: Founded by God / HBN, Fear / EBD, (2 ዜና 20፡16፣ 20)

The name ‘Jeruel’ is derived from ‘Yere’ (የረ) and ‘El’ (ኤል) ፥ the meaning is ‘lord the higheast’ / Ibid.

The place in which Jehoshaphat was informed by Jahaziel the Levite that he should encounter the hordes of Ammon, Moab and the Mehunims, “... ye shall find them at the end of the brook, before the wilderness of Jeruel” (2 Chr 20:16, 20)

‘አየረ’ እና ‘ኤል’ ከሚሉ ሁለት ቃላት የተመሠረተ ነው።

የቦታ ስም፥ “... በሸለቆውም መጨረሻ በይሩኤል ምድረ በዳ ፊት ለፊት ታገኙአቸዋላችሁ፥” (2 ዜና 20፡16፣20)
