Jecamiah ~ ይቃምያ: “Jecamiah” means whom Jehovah gathers / SBD, (1 ዜና 3:8)

The name ‘Jecamiah’ is derived from ‘Yaqn’ (ያቅም) and ‘Yah’ (ያህ) ፥ the meaning is ‘whom Jehovah gathers’ / Ibid.

One of seven who were introduced into the royal line, on the failure of it in the person of Jehoiachin, “Malchiram also, and Pedaiah, and Shenazar, Jecamiah, Hoshama, and Nedabiah” (1 Chr 3:18)

ይቃምያ ~Jecamiah: ያቆም ያህ፣ በሕያው የቆመ፣ በእግዚአብሔር የተመሠረተ ማለት ነው።

‘ያቆመ’ እና ‘ያህ’(ያህዌ፣ ህያው) ከሚሉ ቃላት የተመሠረተ ስም ነው።

የምርኮኛው የኢኮንያን ልጅ፥ “ፈዳያ፥ ሼናጻር፥ ይቃምያ፥ ሆሻማ፥ ነዳብያ ነበሩ።” (1 ዜና 3:8)
