ቢታንያ ~Bethany, Bithynia: ቤታኒያ፣ በተ ሐና፣ የምህረት ቤት፣ የይቅርታ ቤት፣ የሐና አገር ሰው ማለት ነው።

‘ቤት’ እና ‘ሐና’ ከሚሉ ቃላት የተመሰሠረተ ስም ነው።

II.                        ቢታንያ /Bithynia: በጴጥሮስ መልክት የተጠቀሰ፥ (1ጴጥ 1፡1)፣ ሐዋርያው ጳውሎስ ባደረገው ጉዞ የጠቀሰው፥  (ሥራ 16:7)
