Benhadad ~ ወልደ አዴር: “Benhadad” means son of Hadad, (1 ነገ 15:18)

The name ‘Benhadad’ is derived from two words ‘Bien’ (ቤን) and ‘Weded’ (ወደድ) ፥ the meaning is ‘son of the beloved’ / Ibid.

The name of king of Damascus, He made an alliance with Asa, and conquered a great part of the north of Israel, “... and king Asa sent them to Benhadad, the son of Tabrimon, the son of Hezion …” (1 kin 15:18)

ወልደአዴር ~Benhadad: ቤን ሀዳድ፣ የሀዳድ ልጅ፣ የተወደደ ልጅ፣ የአዴር ልጅ ማለት ነው።

Benhadad- ‘ቤን’ (ልጅ) እና ‘አዳድ’ (ውድ) ከሚሉ ሁለት ቃላት የመጣ ስም ነው።

በዚህ ስም የሚታወቁ ሁለት ሰዎች አሉ።

የጠብሪሞን ልጅ የሶርያ ንጉሥ፥ “...በደማስቆ ለተቀመጠው ለአዚን ልጅ ለጠብሪሞን ልጅ ለሶርያ ንጉሥ ለወልደ አዴር።” (1 ነገ 15:18) ፣ (2 ነገ 8:7)
