Abiezer ~ አቢዔዜር: “Abiezer” means father of help, helpful / SBD, (2 ሳሙ 23:27፣ 28)

The name ‘Abiezer’ is derived from two words ‘Ab’ (አብ) and ‘Zer’ (ዘር) ፥ the meaning is ‘seed of the father’፥ it can be interprated as ‘great family, relative of the lord, family of the almigthy lord...’ / Ibid.

Eldest son of Gilead, and descendant of Manasseh; “Abiezer the Anethothite, Mebunnai the Hushathite” (2 Sam 23:27፣ 28)

‘አበ’ እና ‘ዘር’ ከሚሉ ሁለት ቃላት የተመሠረተ ስም  ነው።

ከምናሴ ወገን የሆነ፥ “ዕጣውም ለቀሩት ለምናሴ ልጆች በየወገኖቻቸው፥ ለአቢዔዝር ልጆች...” (ኢያ 17:2)፣ (1 ዜና 7:18)
