Shalisha ~ ሻሊሻ: The name “Shalisha” means three; the third; prince; captain / HBN, (1 ሳሙ 9:4)

The name ‘Shalisha’ is derived from ‘Selese’ (ሰለሰ) ፥ the meaning is ‘trinity’/ Ibid.

“And he passed through mount Ephraim, and passed through the land of Shalisha, but they found them not: ...” (1 Sam 9:4)

ሳዖል በአባቱ ትዕዛዝ የጠፉትን አህዮች ለመፈለግ ካአለፈባቸው ቦታዎች አንዱ፥ “... በሻሊሻ አለፉ፥ አላገኙአቸውምም በሻዕሊም ምድርም አለፉ፥ ...” (1 ሳሙ 9:4)
