Sebat ~ ሳባጥ: “Sebat” means a rod / SBD, (ዘካ 1:7)

“Upon the four and twentieth day of the eleventh month, which is the month Sebat, in the second year of Darius, came the word of the LORD unto Zechariah, the son of Berechiah ...” (Zec 1:7)

ሳባጥ ~Sebat: ሰባት፣ ሳባ ቤት፣ የሳባ ልጅ፣ የሰው ልጅ፣ ቤተ ሳብ፣ ቤተ ሰብ፣ የሳባ ወገን ማለት ነው። [ተዛማጅ ስም- ሰበንያ፣ ሰብታ፣ ሰንበት፣ ሳባ፣ ሳባ ሰዎች፣ ሳባታይ፣ ሳቤህ፣ ሳቤዔ፣ ሴባ፣ ሤባ፣ ጸባዖት]

Sebat- ‘ሰብዓ’ እና ‘ቤት’ ከሚሉ ቃላት የተመሠረተ ስም ነው።

የወር ስም፥ “በዳርዮስ በሁለተኛው ዓመት ሳባጥ በሚባል በአሥራ አንደኛው ወር ...” (ዘካ 1:7)
