Aphiah ~ አፌቅ: The name “Aphiah” means speaking, blowing / HBN, (1 ሳሙ 9: 1), Aphek- (ኢያ 12፡17)

The name ‘Aphiah’ is derived from two words ‘Afe’ (አፈ) and ‘Yah’ (ያህ) ፥ the meaning is ‘word of Jehovah’ / Ibid.

One of the fore-fathers of King Saul; “Now there was a man of Benjamin, whose name was Kish, the son of Abiel, the son of Zeror, the son of Bechorath, the son of Aphiah, a Benjamite, a mighty man of power.” (1 Sam 9: 1)

አፌቅ ~Aphiah: አፍ ያህ፣ አፈ ህያው፣ ቃለ ህይወት፣ ንግግር፣ የጌታ ቃል፣ ቃለ እግዚአብሔር ማለት ነው።

Aphiah- ‘አፈ’ እና ‘ያህ’ (ያህዌ ፣ ህያው) ከሚሉ ቃላት የተመሠረት ስም ነው።

·                     በዮርዳኖስም ማዶ በምዕራብ በኩል በሊባኖስ ሸለቆ ... ኢያሱና የእስራኤል ልጆች ከመቱአቸው የምድር ነገሥታት፥ “የታጱዋ ንጉሥ፥ የኦፌር ንጉሥ፥ የአፌቅ ንጉሥ” (ኢያ 12፡17)
