Baale of Judah ~ ይሁዳ ካለች ከበኣል: lords of Judah / EBD, (2 ሳሙ 6፡2)

The name ‘Baale of Judah’ is 'derived from two words ‘Be’ale‘(በአለ) and ‘Yhuda’ (ይሁዳ) ፥ The mean ing is ‘lords of Judah’ / Ibid.

A  city in the tribe of Judah from which David brought the ark into Jerusalem, “And David arose, and went with all the people that were with him from Baale of Judah, to bring up from thence the ark of God, ...” (2 Sam 6:2)

ይሁዳ ካለች ከበኣል /Baale of Judah: ባለ ይሁዳ፣ በዓለ ይሁዳ፣ የአይሁድ በዓል፣ የይሁዳ ጌታ ማለት ነው።

Baale of Judah- ‘ባለ’ እና ‘ይሁዳ’ ከሚሉ ሁለት ቃላት የተመሠረተ ስም ነው።

የእግዚአብሔር ታቦት ተቀምጦበት የነበረ፣ የቦታ ስም፥ “ዳዊትና ከእርሱ ጋር የነበሩት ሕዝብ ሁሉ በይሁዳ ካለች ከበኣል ተነሥተው በኪሩቤል ላይ በተቀመጠ በሠራዊት ጌታ በእግዚአብሔር ስም የተጠራውን የእግዚአብሔርን ታቦት ከዚያ ያመጡ ዘንድ ሄዱ።” (2 ሳሙ 6፡2)
