አዛርያ ~Azariah: ዘረያህ፣ ዘረ ህያው፣ ህያው ዘር፣ የጌታ ወገን፣ የአምላክ ቤተሰብ ማለት ነው። [ተዛማጅ ስሞች - አልዓዛር፣ ዓዛሪያስ፣ ዓዛርያስ፣ ዓዛርኤል፣ ኤዝርኤል፣ ዓዝሪኤል፣ ዓዛሪያስ፣ ዔዛርያስ፣ ዓዝርኤል፣ ዓዛርኤል፣ ኤሊሱር፣ ኤሊዔዘር፣ ኤዝርኤል፣ አልዓዛር፣ ኤልዓዘር፣ አዛርኤል፣ አዛርኤል፣ ዓዛርኤል]

‘ዘር’ እና ‘ያህ’ (ያህዌ ፣ ህያው) ከሚሉ ቃላት የተመሠረተ ስም ነው።

በዚህ ስም የሚታወቁ ሁለት ሰዎች አሉ።

2.                  የይሁዳ ንጉሥ ኢዮአቄም በነገሠ በሦስተኛው ዓመት የባቢሎን ንጉሥ ናቡከደነፆር ወደ ኢየሩሳሌም መጥቶ ከበባትና ማርኮ ከወሰዳቸው፥  (ዳን 1:6፣ 7 ፣ 11 ፣ 16)

1.                  ንጉሡ ሰሎሞን በእስራኤል ሁሉ ላይ በነገሰበት ዘመን አለቃ የነበረ፥ የሳዶቅ ልጅ ፥ “የነበሩትም አለቆች እነዚህ ናቸው የሳዶቅ ልጅ ካህኑ ዓዛርያስ” (1 ነገ 4:2)

2.                  የኬልቅያስ ልጅ፥ (ዕዝ7:1 ፣ 2) ፣ “የእግዚአብሔርም ቤት አለቃ … ዓዛርያስ” (1 ዜና 9:11 ፣ ነህ 3:23)፣ (1 ዜና 6:36)

3.                  የዖዴድ ልጅ፥ (2 ዜና 15:1)

4.                  የአኪማአስ ልጅ፥ (1 ዜና 6:9 ፣ 1 ነገ 4:2)

5.                  የዮሐናን ልጅ፥ (1 ዜና 6:10 ፣ 11)

6.                  የአሜስያስ ልጅ፥ (2 ነገ 14:21 ፣ 2 ዜና 26:17-20)
