The root words for ‘Baal-shalisha’ are ‘Beale’ (በዓለ) and ‘Slasie’ (ሥላሴ) ፥ The meaning is ‘trinity of lord’/ Ibid.

A place from which a man came with provisions for Elisha, “And there came a man from Baalshalisha, and brought the man of God bread of the firstfruits, twenty loaves of barley, and full ears of corn ...” (2 kin 4:42)

በኣል ሻሊሻ ~Baal-shalisha: በዓለ ሽላሼ፣ በዓለ ሥላሴ፣ የሥላሴ በዓል፣ ሦስትነት ማለት ነው።

‘በዓል’ እና ‘ሥላሴ’ ከሚሉ ሁለት ቃላት የተገኘ ስም ነው።

ለኤልሳ ምግብና መጠጥ ያመጣ ሰው፥ የቦታ ስም፥ “አንድ ሰውም ከበኣልሻሊሻ የበኵራቱን እንጀራ፥ ሀያ የገብስ እንጀራ፥ የእህልም እሸት በአቁማዳ ይዞ ወደ እግዚአብሔር ሰው መጣ እርሱም፦ ይበሉ ዘንድ ለሕዝቡ ስጣቸው አለ።” (2 ነገ 4፡42)
