Baal-gad ~ በኣልጋድ: lord of fortune, or troop of Baal / EBD, (ኢያ 13፡5)

The root words for ‘Baal-gad’ are ‘Bal’ (ባል) and ‘Ged’ (ገድ) ፥ The meaning is ‘the lucky one or the fortunate one’/ Ibid.

Baal-gad- ‘በኣለ’ እና ‘ገድ’ ከሚሉ ሁለት ቃላት የተመሠረተ የቦታ ስም ነው።
