Zadok ~ ሳዶቅ: righteous. / EBD, The name “Zadok” means just; justified / HBN, “Zadok” means just / SBD, (1 ዜና 24:3)

The name ‘Zadok’ is derived from ‘Tsadiq’ (ጻዲቅ) ፥ the root word is ‘Tsedeqe’ (ጸደቀ) ፥ the meaning is ‘the living one’/ Ibid.

A Son of Ahitub and one of the two chief priests in the time of David, (1 Chr 24:3) and eleventh in descent from Aaron (1 Chr 12:28)

ሳዶቅ ~Sadoc, Zadok: ሳዲቅ፣ ጻዲቅ፣ እውነተኛ፣ ህያው ማለት ነው።

‘ጻድቅ’ ከሚለው ቃል የተገኘ ስም ነው።

I.                        ሳዶቅ /Sadoc: በጌታ የዘር ሃረግ የተጠቀሰ፥ “... ሳዶቅም አኪምን ወለደ፤ አኪምም ኤልዩድን ወለደ፤” (ማቴ 1:14)

II.                        ሳዶቅ /Zadok:

1.                  የአኪጦብ ልጅ፣ የእግዚአብሔርን ቃል ኪዳን ታቦት ተሸክመው ከመጡ፥ ሳዶቅ፥ “ዳዊትም ከአልዓዛር ልጆች ከሳዶቅ ጋር...” (1 ዜና 24:3)

2.                  የንጉሥ ዖዝያ አያት፣ የኢየሩሳ አባት፥ ሳዶቅ፥ (2 ነገ 15:33፣ 2 ዜና 27:1)

3.                  የኢየሩሳሌምን አጥር ከጠገኑት አንዱ፣ የበዓና ልጅ፥ ሳዶቅ፥ (ነህ 3:4፣ 29)

4.                  የመራዮት ልጅ፥ ሳዶቅ ፥ (1 ዜና 9:11)
